Philosopher Child just turned 6! He's growing so fast and I have no idea when he became so tall. But of course, this doesn't stop his questions.
On the way to school the other day, we saw a dog.
"Mommy, how do dog babies come out of the mommy?" he asked.
"Same way that people come out of their mommies," I replied.
"Oh. So, they come out of their butt?"

When my Eldest was very little her conclusion as to how Smiley (a person in dog costume) was made because he wasn't really dog and wasn't really human. She said he was a cross...her explanations of how the person was crossed with a dog were innovative!
